THE ART OF DIGESTING LIFE
An approach that brings together
nutrition, emotions and self-understanding.
Who is this for?
A BROADER VIEW OF HEALTH
Perhaps you've spent years trying to understand what's wrong. You've explored different approaches, searched for answers, read books, consulted practitioners, tried to change your habits, and yet something still feels unresolved. Maybe you've experienced improvements, only to find yourself back where you started. Or perhaps your body isn't your main question anymore. Something in your life simply no longer feels quite right.
Questions about who you are, the meaning of your existence, or how you truly want to live have become increasingly difficult to ignore.
For some people, this journey begins with chronic digestive symptoms. For others, another chronic illness, persistent fatigue, or emotional distress. And for some, it begins with a quieter feeling: the sense that they have become disconnected from themselves, that life has lost some of its meaning, or that questions they once ignored are becoming increasingly difficult to silence.
Whatever the starting point, there is often a shared intuition: that the symptom may not be the whole story.
You may recognise yourself if:
You live with chronic digestive symptoms such as bloating, IBS, SIBO, reflux, constipation, diarrhoea or food intolerances.
You have another chronic illness and feel that your health deserves to be explored from a broader perspective.
You struggle with chronic fatigue, inflammatory symptoms, or the feeling that your body no longer responds in the way it once did.
You have a difficult relationship with food, are recovering from an eating disorder, or feel increasingly anxious around eating.
You feel disconnected from yourself, your body, or the direction your life is taking.
You sense that your symptoms may be part of a much larger story.
The people I accompany don't all share the same diagnosis. What they often share is a moment in life where the way they've been trying to understand their suffering no longer feels sufficient. They are looking for an approach that doesn't reduce health to physiology alone, but doesn't dismiss physiology either. They want to understand themselves more deeply without having to choose between science, emotional work and the deeper questions that make us human.
If you recognise yourself in these words, you may be looking for more than symptom relief alone. You may be looking for a way of understanding your health, and yourself, that honours the complexity of being human.
If that resonates with you, this work may be for you.
“Health is shaped not only by what we consume,
but by how we meet existence.”
An Integrative Approach
BODY · EMOTIONS · EXISTENCE
-

Nutrition
Ancestral traditional medicine systems help us understand your unique digestion according to your constitution and current imbalances. This approach focuses on the digestibility of your meals and the impact of what you consume. Together with Modern nutrition brings scientific understanding of the microbiome and nutrients. Together, they give you the keys to restore functional digestion.
-

Emotional Integration
Our health is shaped not only by what we eat, but also by what we experience. Buried fears, unresolved wounds, limiting beliefs and long-standing emotional patterns can influence the way we relate to ourselves, to others and to life. Through narrative medicine, therapeutic meditation and in-depth conversations, we explore these dimensions together, allowing what has remained unprocessed to gradually be understood, integrated and released.
-

Existential Self-Inquiry
Beyond nutrition and emotional integration lies another dimension of health: our relationship with ourselves and with life. This work invites us to explore how we inhabit our lives, the stories we tell about who we are, and the meaning we give to our experiences. Nourished by philosophy and contemplative traditions, it offers a space for deeper self-understanding, helping us gradually expand our capacity to digest life more fully.
A Different Way of Looking at Health
Many people eventually reach a point where the way they've been trying to understand their health no longer feels sufficient. They've tried different treatments or protocols, sometimes with temporary improvements, yet something still doesn't feel fully resolved.
Whether the symptoms are digestive or not, we often focus on treating what is visible. But health rarely unfolds in isolated compartments. Our physiology, emotions, relationships, beliefs, way of living and sense of meaning constantly influence one another. Looking at only one of these dimensions may mean overlooking an important part of the picture.
Digestion remains a central part of my approach. Not only because many people come to me with digestive symptoms, but because both modern science research and ancient traditional systems increasingly recognise the digestive system as one of the major foundations of health. The way we digest food influences nutrient availability, immune function, inflammation, metabolism and communication between the gut and the brain. Even when symptoms appear elsewhere in the body, digestion remains one of the most important places to explore—not because it explains everything, but because it influences so many other dimensions of health.
My approach brings together modern nutritional science, ancestral understandings of health, psycho-emotional integration and existential self-inquiry. It has grown from years of study and lived experience alongside teachers in different parts of both Europe and Asia. Together, they offer different perspectives from which to understand ourselves more deeply, break free from the suffering we create, and gradually expand our capacity to digest life more fully: physically, mentally, emotionally and existentially.
Whether you're seeking relief from chronic symptoms, a deeper understanding of your health, or a different relationship with yourself and with life, my role is not simply to address a diagnosis. It is to accompany you in exploring the different dimensions that may be shaping your experience, and to help you gradually expand your capacity to digest life more fully.
About Me
About ten years ago, at the age of twenty-four, the sense of identity I had built my life around profoundly broke down.
From the outside, everything seemed to be going well. I had completed engineering studies and gone on to pursue a PhD, yet inwardly, something no longer made sense. Over the years, that rupture took different forms: anorexia, chronic digestive issues, depression and fatigue, but also questions I could no longer silence: Who am I? Why am I here? Is this really all life has to offer?
What began as a search for solutions to my health problems gradually took me much further. I left the path I had been following and began travelling, living and studying alongside teachers in different parts of Europe and Asia. There, I explored modern nutrition, Ayurveda, philosophy and contemplative traditions, as well as different ways of understanding health and suffering.
Over time, one idea became the thread running through my journey: we don't only digest food. We also digest our emotions, our experiences, our relationships, the transformations of our identity and, perhaps at a deeper level, life itself.
My work today grew out of that experience. My approach brings together nutritional science, traditional understandings of health, psycho-emotional integration and existential self-inquiry. Not in search of a single explanation for suffering, but as different perspectives through which we can explore the many dimensions that shape our health and our relationship with ourselves.
Through Arwezenn, I support people navigating digestive issues or other chronic health challenges, as well as those who simply feel that something in their life may need to be looked at differently — gradually learning to digest food, emotions, themselves... and life more fully.
